Representatives from two of SAIH's partners in South Africa were in Norway last week in connection with the international campaign 16 days of activism against gender violence. One of the things we did with them was this art workshop.
The methods were designed for survivors of domestic violence, and it gives the participants a great opportunity to loon inwards, to find one's centre of power, to express on paper what is important in one's life and many other things. The experience is of course highly individual, and different people experience different things, but most participants thought is was a powerful workshop.
I am realy not the creative artistic type, but it was a lot of fun and taught us a lot.
