I never thought I'd be going to Sudan. But thanks to Margunn, this year's Easter holidays was not spent in a cabin in the mountains, skiing, eating oranges and drinking hot chocolate (ok, more realistically: being lazy at home, watching a lot of TV, hanging with my family and watching the rain and grey weather). We decided to accept the invitation to come to Margunn and Saif's wedding in Khartoum in stead, and it was an amazing experience. Sudan is a very colourful and exciting country, and everyone there took such good care of us. In addition to three days of wedding celebrations, we visited markets, pyramids, had great food, went on the Nile, met a lot of great people, partied - all in all it was an amazing Easter holiday.
